Virtual ADHD Coaching for New York Women

Coaching for ambitious, overwhelmed women navigating adhd, cultural expectations, and the relentless pace of New York life.

I work virtually with clients throughout New York City, Upstate and the tri-state area. Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Long Island, Jersey, Catskill to Buffalo. Wherever you are, we meet via Zoom.

New York has a particular kind of intensity. The pace, the noise, the constant stimulation, the unspoken rule that you should always be doing more. For adhd brains, it's both exhilarating and exhausting. I'd know, I grew up in North Jersey and raised in the tri state; learned to parallel park on Manhattan avenues, took Saturday jaunts to Hyde Park and wasn't new to LI beaches.

Being endlessly surrounded by people crushing it, while wondering why you can't keep up when you're supposedly so capable?? Growing up and/or living in one of the most in-your-face places on the globe requires a certain resiliency.

Add in navigating multiple cultural identities, family expectations that don't match the city's pace, or being first-gen trying to build something your parents don't understand, and it gets complicated fast.

Virtual 1:1 coaching

Virtual sessions via Zoom, scheduled around your actual life.

This is trauma-sensitive, somatic coaching. We work with your nervous system, not just your thoughts. I'm not going to give you another productivity system or tell you to network more effectively. We address the actual barriers: executive function challenges, nervous system dysregulation, the years of masking and compensating.

Plus the practical stuff: navigating corporate environments with adhd, deciding whether to disclose at work, setting boundaries that don't get you labeled as difficult, building sustainable routines that work for your actual brain.

This isn't about fitting you into a neurotypical mold. It's about understanding your context and building something that actually works.

Why New York Clients Work with Me

Cross-Cultural Competency:

I've lived in or traveled to over 80 countries. I'm a biracial, neurodivergent women who's intimately familiar with what it means to exist between worlds. Whether you're navigating multiple cultural identities, first or second-generation expectations, or trying to reconcile traditional family values with the life you're building, I get the complexity.

New York is genuinely multicultural in a way most American cities aren't; let's face it, most of the world. Your Nigerian parents' expectations, your Puerto Rican grandmother's concerns, your Korean American identity, your Indian family's marriage timeline, the way your Dominican community views mental health, your Chinese family's academic pressure - these aren't barriers to coaching, they're part of the context we work within. They take up space in our work because they

The Pace Isn't the Problem, The Expectations Are:

Everyone tells you to slow down, set boundaries, do less. But that advice doesn't account for the reality of living here. Rent is astronomical. Competition is real. Your family sacrificed for you to have opportunities. Your community expects certain things, whether they live nearby or you're the only one that left. We don't pretend you can just opt out of that. We work with what's actually true.

Immigrant and First-Gen Experience:

Whether you came here yourself or you're carrying your family's immigration story, there's a particular pressure that comes with being the one who's supposed to make it all worth it. The one who got the education, the corporate job, the American dream. Except you're burned out, adhd is making everything harder, and you can't admit you're struggling because too much is riding on your success.

Multilingual, Multifaceted Identity:

You code-switch constantly, let's face it. Home self, work self, friend group self, family self. It's exhausting, and adhd makes it harder to track which version of you is supposed to show up where. We work on integration, not more performance.

What New York Burnout Actually Looks Like ::

You're achieving, but it feels hollow.

• You moved here for opportunity and ambition, but now you're just surviving.

• Sundays feel like dread.

• You're the successful one in your family, but you're barely holding it together.

• Your apartment is a mess. You're ordering delivery again because cooking feels impossible. You cancel plans constantly because you have nothing left to give.

• The subway sounds are overwhelming. The crowds drain you.

• You're masking at work all day, then collapsing at home.

• You look fine on LinkedIn. You're drowning in Slack messages.

• You're supposed to be grateful for what you have.

Workshops

I LOVED how you broke down the zone of geniuses in a very human way! It was really, really powerful. I left your workshop thinking, 'Ooh, I need to take out my whiteboard and reflect on this even more," ... which is really the best way to leave a workshop, fired up to make progress.

Breathwork

I was able to understand some emotional wounds on another level, I got deeper that I had before. The breathwork allowed me to get to a place of deeper understanding, the why around a situation that I didn’t expect.

Coaching

Put simply, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. The beauty is that Viki doesn't tell me what I should or shouldn't do, she puts all my jumbled thoughts and dreams into an easy-to-understand format.

You Don't Need to Move to Adventure with This

We meet where you are, literally and metaphorically.

This isn't about fitting you into a coaching model. It's about understanding your actual context - cultural, familial, economic, neurological and working from there. I don't pretend your family dynamics are simple or that setting boundaries is just a matter of saying no. I don't gaslight you about the very real pressures you're under.

People love telling New Yorkers to just leave, as if the city is the problem. Sometimes it is. But often, you'd just recreate the same patterns somewhere cheaper with worse bagels. We work on the actual patterns, not the location.
