Why Random ADHD Tips Don't Work: You Need a Roadmap Instead

All of my writing is free. I write because it allows me to better understand my own points of view, I thoroughly enjoy it and I believe that knowledge gets to be accessible, not locked behind a pay wall. Yet, creating deep, quality content takes time, energy, and a herculean effort from this adhd brain. In the spirit of reciprocity, if something here lands for you, consider buying me a coffee to support this work 🙏🏾

Why Random ADHD Tips Don't Actually Change Anything

Most ADHD content [I call it, THE ZEITGEIST] operates on a scattershot model.

One week you're learning about executive dysfunction. The next week it's rejection sensitivity. The week after that, dopamine menus or body doubling or some new productivity hack that promises to finally make your brain cooperate. Then, the ad hoc expert guest interview pop in.

I was collecting tipsNtricks like trading cards. I was saving posts [and never revisiting]. I was taking diligent notes [that I never looked at again]. I DID feel seen. I DID often resonate.

Then I clicked onward to the next thing, repeating whatever cycle I found myself in in which those aforementioned tipsNtricks didn’t quite…hold.

But nothing fundamentally shifed.

Because transformation isn't random consumption of helpful information!! It's guided progression through specific stages. Harkening back to previous lessons, bringing those forward and weaving them into what the current topic is. I call that integration 🤷🏾‍♀️

And almost no one in the ADHD space is not only NOT talking about this, but also I’m finding very little guided pathways.

….that are affordable.

The Problem with Random ADHD Tips

I can't do boundary work if my nervous system is dysregulated. Hello!

I can't trust my gut if I don't know how to hear my body's signals.

I can't stop people-pleasing if I’m still operating from the limiting beliefs that made people-pleasing necessary for survival in the first place.

Healing has an order, akin to grief, its perceived opposite.

Transformation has a structure. If you’ve been in the transformational world - this is often called the technology.

Skip the foundation? We’re building on sand. I might get a few wins, but they won't stick because the underlying system hasn't changed.

That's what's missing from most ADHD content. The architecture. The roadmap. The acknowledgment that this isn't about collecting more tools - it's about following a specific path that rebuilds your relationship with yourself from the ground up.

What I Built Instead: A 6-Month ADHD Transformation Journey

So I created what I couldn't find.

A 6-month self-coaching journey for late-diagnosed ADHD women. From burnout to embodied autonomy. With an actual sequence that builds month over month.

Here's the roadmap:

Month 1: Nervous System Regulation for ADHD

Because you can't heal from a dysregulated state. Everything else depends on this foundation.

Month 2: Self-Trust Foundations

Because you can't trust others or make aligned decisions if you don't trust yourself first.

Month 3: Shadow Work and Limiting Beliefs

Now that you're resourced, we can excavate what's been running the show underneath your awareness.

Month 4: Breaking the ADHD Rumination Spiral

Your brain isn't broken. It's trying to keep you safe. Let's interrupt the loop.

Month 5: From People-Pleasing to Boundaries

Boundaries only work when you have the regulation and self-trust to hold them. That's why this comes later.

Month 6: Embodied Autonomy

Living from your body's wisdom instead of your head's fears. Trusting yourself completely. Choosing yourself without permission.

Each month has 4 episodes: a real story, a framework, a somatic practice, and an integration exercise.

It's not random. It's scaffolded. Intentional. Building toward something specific.

This is How ADHD Transformation Actually Works

Not through tips. Not through hacks. Not through validation alone.

Through structure. Through sequence. Through following a path that meets you where you are and walks you to where you want to be.

That's what I'm releasing in the first week of March 2026.

A free 6-month podcast journey. The resource I wish existed when I was first diagnosed. The roadmap I had to figure out the long way so you don't have to.

And yes, it's completely free. Because you shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to learn how to trust yourself.

Why This Matters for Late-Diagnosed ADHD Women

If you've been consuming ADHD content for months or years and still feel stuck, it's not because you're not trying hard enough.

It's because you've been given tools without a blueprint. Information without integration. Tips without transformation.

This journey gives you the blueprint.

The sequence matters. The foundation matters. The order in which you approach your healing matters.

Hey, I'm Viki

P.S. If you're wondering about me - I hold a PCC coaching credential, breathwork facilitation certification, trauma sensitive somatic training, adhd certification, ongoing supervision, and about a decade of my own therapeutic and somatic work.

I'm also neurodivergent as hell, which informs everything about how I work. None of that makes me the right coach for you, but it hopefully gives you a sense of how I come to this work.

I may receive a commission for links shared in a blog, podcast, or newsletter. You don’t have to use these links, yet I’d be grateful if you chose to! Thanks again for your support, I hope you find the content supportive, insightful, and helpful!
