Top ADHD Friendly Gifts

All of my writing is free. I write because it allows me to better understand my own points of view, I thoroughly enjoy it and I believe that knowledge gets to be accessible, not locked behind a pay wall. Yet, creating deep, quality content takes time, energy, and a herculean effort from this adhd brain. In the spirit of reciprocity, if something here lands for you, consider buying me a coffee to support this work 🙏🏾

I get asked this a lot: What actually makes a great gift for someone with neurodivergence?

And I remind folks that we don’t need more clutter or more shoulds disguised as presents.

We need things that support our nervous systems, spark dopamine without guilt, simplify life, or make us feel deeply seen.

So I pulled together my go to ADHD friendly gifts: the ones that genuinely make life smoother, softer, or more fun. Think of this as your permission slip to shop intentionally, joyfully, and with the neurodivergent brain in mind. Add what works, skip what doesn’t, and let this list spark ideas that fit your people exactly as they are.

Friendly note, lots of links are from my Amazon storefront and thus, give me an affiliate kickback should you choose to purchase from that link!

Now, onto the goods.

  • Software || Wave: Great invoicing + bookeeping tool especially if you work for yourself or have a side hustle. Most of their functions are free and I've been using them for years!

  • Software || SIO: The all-in-one marketing platform that just works. I migrated my website from Wix, cancelled lots of subscriptions, and am running 90% of my business off ONE platform. A dream. It's been well over a year and I haven't looked back. They offer: CRM, courses, communities, newsletters, website, blog, paid scheduling, etc.

  • Software || BEEP extension: Leave voice notes, feedback, and comments in your Gmail emails or G Documents. I use audio messaging, EVERYWHERE. Highly recommend.

  • Hardware || StreamDeck: 15 Customizable LCD Keys to instantly control your apps, tools and platforms. If you facilitate anything like I do, particularly using video conferencing for presentations and such, you'll want to take a look at at this.

  • Hardware || Walking Pad: Self explanatory. For those of us that are kinetic - being able to walk while working is delicious. I haven't looked back and I hit 10K steps daily.

  • Hardware || Standing Desk: The walking pad can't work without a little height, so this is the one I have and recommend.

  • Item || Visible, analog desktop timer. Trust me.

  • Item || Earplugs: Loop earplugs are the BEST if you have audio sensitivity. My man snores right next to me and I hear nothing all night :)

  • Hardware || Mug warmer: If you're like me, I drink my single cherished cup of caffeine for hours. Never shall that cup be lukewarm!

  • Subscription || Body Doubling: If you work from home, alone, then body doubling might be worth a try. Not only will you hang out with me at FLOWN, but you'll have access to coaching, resources, tools and you can also host your own sessions for your crew!

  • Item || On Air Sign: Clearly, for the people to stop knocking on your door when you're hyperfocusing!

  • Items || Dry erase notebook and colored markers

  • Item || Eye juice: Don't laugh, but this is vital to keep on the desk. #DryEyes

  • Item || 2nd Monitor: Having 2 monitors is great for keeping things both in sight and in mind.

  • Food || Teecino: Caffeine and acid free coffee alternative that ACTUALLY tastes like coffee. It's even a prebiotic, so that's lit.

  • Item || Heated throw blanket

Hey, I'm Viki

P.S. If you're wondering about me - I hold a PCC coaching credential, breathwork facilitation certification, trauma sensitive somatic training, adhd certification, ongoing supervision, and about a decade of my own therapeutic and somatic work.

I'm also neurodivergent as hell, which informs everything about how I work. None of that makes me the right coach for you, but it hopefully gives you a sense of how I come to this work.

I may receive a commission for links shared in a blog, podcast, or newsletter. You don’t have to use these links, yet I’d be grateful if you chose to! Thanks again for your support, I hope you find the content supportive, insightful, and helpful!
